Welcome to the Wildflower Room. A place for compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults through secure telehealth and limited in-office appointments. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or other mental health concerns, we're here to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered on your journey toward healing.
Wildflower Room Philosophy
We believe healing begins with being heard. Like wildflowers, people are remarkably resilient. With the right support, environment, and personalized care, healing and growth are possible. Every person’s story is unique, and treatment should reflect your individual experiences, strengths, and goals. Our approach combines evidence-based medication management with compassionate, collaborative care, creating a safe and supportive space where you feel respected, understood, and empowered. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that not only addresses your symptoms but also supports your overall well-being, building resilience, restoring balance, and moving toward lasting emotional wellness with confidence and hope.
Meet Maria Boone, APRN, PMHNP-BC
I'm a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adults. With a background in emergency medicine and advanced psychiatric training, I understand that every person's journey is unique. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to achieve lasting emotional wellness. I look forward to partnering with you on your path toward healing and growth.
Our Services
Your first appointment is an opportunity to slow down and look at the whole picture.
We’ll explore your current concerns, mental health and medical history, medications, life experiences, and treatment goals. From there, we’ll develop a personalized plan that may include medication, therapeutic strategies, lifestyle considerations, or additional resources when appropriate.
Sometimes you need more than medication management alone.
My approach incorporates supportive and evidence-based therapeutic techniques into psychiatric care when appropriate. This allows us to explore coping strategies, patterns, stressors, and meaningful changes alongside your medical treatment.
When ongoing or specialized psychotherapy would better meet your needs, I’m also happy to collaborate with your therapist or help you identify additional support.
Medication can be an important part of mental health treatment, but it shouldn’t feel like a five-minute prescription refill.
Follow-up visits focus on how you’re actually doing—what’s improving, what isn’t, potential side effects, changes in your life, and whether your treatment still makes sense for you.
When medication is appropriate, the goal is thoughtful prescribing with ongoing evaluation and shared decision-making.

Telepsychiatry
Mental health care should fit into your life.
Secure telehealth appointments provide convenient access to psychiatric evaluation and follow-up care from the privacy of your own space. Telepsychiatry is available to eligible patients located in states where I am licensed to practice.
Areas of Focus
You don’t need to know exactly what diagnosis fits before reaching out. Part of the evaluation process is taking the time to understand what you’re experiencing and determining together what kind of support may be most helpful.
“A Different Kind of Psychiatric Visit
You are more than a diagnosis.
My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, participating in decisions about your treatment, and talking openly about what is—and isn’t—working.
